Meet the Kelp Forest Limited Edition. Based on our Aquis Date 41.50 mm dive watch, it’s inspired by the beauty of the world’s underwater kelp forests. We’re only making 1,000 pieces, each with a 3D-printed dial that mimics the swaying of kelp plants. Behind the watch is a story brought to us by our ambassador and award-winning underwater photographer Francis Pérez. Francis has been photographing the ocean for 30 years and has observed the dramatic decline in kelp forests. The picture is critical. Kelp is a carbon capture hero and produces around 2 per cent of the world’s oxygen. But it’s under threat. Huge areas of kelp forest have now disappeared.
