Re-introduced to celebrate the iconic work of Danish modernist Nanna Ditzel, this sterling silver bangle makes a bold statement. Originally designed in 1955, the bangle reflects Ditzel’s holistic approach that celebrates functionalism: the lock is not hidden away but treated as in intrinsic part of the design itself. The relaunched pieces are available through 2021 alone. Driven by the desire to create, Nanna Ditzel pursued a career which saw her work with everything from furniture and textiles to hollowware and jewellery. She became the first woman to design jewellery for Georg Jensen and her bold, minimalist, and always innovative pieces have stood the test of time. The bangle is masterfully crafted from sterling silver.
